In this case, you may join with one or two of your friends and buy a boat. In some places, you cannot take to sail throughout the year due to climatic factors. Three hulled boats called as trimarans are also used prevalently these days. You have single mast mono hulls which are called as a sloop. The two mast sail boats are longer about forty to one hundred and fifty feet long. If you plan to be out in the sea for longer number of days, you may need these boats. If you buy sail boats, you must maintain them properly all round the year even when you are not using them so that the life of the sail boats will increase.
